In the first year
of implementation of the new UEFA Nations League, the following conditions
would have to be observed:
League A
The 16 teams that
participated would be:
> The first and
second of the last League A classification (of each group).
> The first and
second of the last League B classification (of each group).
League B
The 16 teams that
participated would be:
> The third of
the last League A classification (of each group).
> The third of
the last League B classification (of each group).
> The first and
second of the last League C classification (of each group).
League C
The remaining teams
not included in the new leagues A and B.
